Determination.

Saul the Wolf Goodman

Saul Goodman is one of my favorite characters from Breaking Bad and really set the bar higher for the whole show. He absolutely nailed it in Better Call Saul too… for his wits and talent of making easy money.

You see Saul Goodman or Jimmy can talk his way out of any situation and I mean any situation, especially when it comes to his life. On top of that, he knows how to turn to turn a bad situation into a good situation by showing how important his ideas and plans are for them.

The best trait of Saul Goodman is convincing people that they need a lawyer in awful situations (drunk driving, drug deal gone wrong, or buying shady businesses).

And more importantly, these people who are often crooks, meth addicts, dealers, and lowlife citizens… and sometimes businessperson too who see Saul Goodman as their ultimate helper. Saul puts out the benefits quickly and smartly before someone blinks an eye so he can keep his connections with people in power and make lots of money.

In all episodes of Better Call Saul, I have seen Saul grow as a more determined person and doing what he actually enjoys, which is making quick money and trying out different things.

He quits his job from the most respected place in an odd way and gave a manager an oral beating for not being thorough when hiring employees at work. All because he knows his worth and determined to do what he always wanted.

Saul is not someone who will belittle himself and settle for anything less (so should you who is reading this).

He is always on the look for something big and determined to finish the job with his strongest superpower: wits.

Whether it is bringing bags full of $7 million from the border, selling cellphones, undermining Chuck’s reputation, and convincing Kim that his crazy moves are worth it, he was determined to achieve to do what he want no matter what.

Actually he said something in Breaking Bad as well that may boost his determined philosophy…

He is...

cunning

manipulative

moral less

coward? Oh…k

bad visionary

Yes, but he is determined and that matters a lot. So the best and frankly the most positive trait of Saul Goodman was determination.

The bottom line is…

If you believe even though no one does AND you face trouble because of no support, simply Go for it.

There is no other option if you want to avoid cussing yourself after years because you didn’t go for it. Of course some ideas are downright crazy and wrong so a big NO for that.

But every person has a tingling sensation to do things that they want but couldn’t because of so many reasons. Most commonly they lack determination and this show helps you build determination.

Just a word of advice: Don’t be a bad guy lol.
